I booked a TÜV check by pitstop in the past. After checking the vehicle, the pitstop team gave me the feedback that the vehicle (5 years old) would not be approved and some repairs were necessary. Their offer comprehended an amount of almost 1.000€ (which they refused to give me in written form). According to the sales man, if the car were not "repaired" as he suggested, a TÜV approval would not happen, "not through legal ways" (using his own words and trying to figure out what he meant).
Well, I am engineer and know a bit about cars. I judged his arguments unreasonable and decided to drive myselft the car directly to TÜV. Result: my car was TÜV approved without any problems or comments.
So, based on my experience, I do not recommend the services of pitstop, I personally prefer to drive far away and let my car be checked elsewhere. Forcing unnecessary services to the customer is not fair and also not sustainable. Hope this shop changes its policy asap.

I have been here for more than 5 times. Last two service was very bad and they tried to rip me off.

I was given a price range over the phone, with the caveat that it could be slightly more expensive depending on the amount of work involved.
However, on-site, it turned out that the actual price was significantly higher than previously discussed.
This is the second time I've had this experience here.
I find this approach opaque and unfair to customers.
Not recommended if you value clear and transparent pricing agreements.
