I visited without an appointment on Monday morning to check small cut on the tire. Mr.Haller was kind and willing to help for explanation! Luckily without waiting, i could change by new tire. Price was clear and reasonable, process was quick as well. Thank you for great customer service!

ATU at Niederrad is very friendly, helpful. The member Besi, loves his job, friendly to customers and gives right advise. I get my seasonal tires changed and am always welcomed there

If you care about your safety, then avoid this place. I bought tires and changed them here. Problems and difficulties arose at almost every step. 1. Long waiting Even though I submitted a request for a tire change in mid-October, the first available date for an appointment was November 10th. 2. Database problems Upon arrival at the place, it turned out that they could not take my car to work because another car with the same plate numbers was entered in their database. This was not such a serious problem and in 15 minutes they managed to fix problem with database. But why did I waste this time if, when making an appointment, the same issue had occurred, and they already promised to fix it. 3. Price increase When I signed the paper before leaving the car, I accidentally noticed that the invoice was 17 euros more than it was when I placed a request for a tire change. I asked the reason and received an answer that this is a standard procedure to ensure the durability of rubber (Reifenflanke). Okay, the procedure may be standard, but let me know that the price has increased. I shouldn't detect this by accident myself. 4. Incorrectly assembled wheel When I came back, I passed my car and happened to look at the nearest wheel. Surprisingly, I found that the tire on this wheel was installed in the opposite (wrong) direction. The other three wheels were fine, the rotation arrows on the tires pointed in the direction of moving. This is a pretty stupid mistake even for a newbie, not to mention an experienced serviceman. An error that could lead to the car pulling to the side at high speeds. Also, during rainy weather, instead of draining water away from the wheel, aquaplaning will occur. Which means an out-of-control car and an accident! 5. Denial of problem I took a photo of the incorrectly assembled wheel and went to their office. (I’ve attached the photo to my post). I showed the photo to the guy in the office. And this time I had to be surprised. Because I was told that the arrows on the tires don’t mean anything, and the wheels can be assembled however you like. Only after I pointed out the tire has a directional protector that works differently depending on the movement, this guy agreed that a mistake was made. But the whole situation surprised me very much. It turns out that ATU does not care about the safety of their clients. The main thing is to do less and have fewer problems. 6. Arrogance As I said, I was “kindly” offered to reassemble the incorrect wheel. The serviceman from the workshops was very unhappy with my appearance. I felt like it was my fault that he had assembled the wheel incorrectly, because this guy was so offensive. When I simply suggested being polite to each other, he replied: How old are you to ask me for this? Another surprise... This guy was, of course, older than me, but not so much (I already crossed my 40-year milestone). And in principle, it was rather strange conversation... So, I just left the car and went away. But I had the feeling that this guy, because he was so angry, might do something wrong with the car (which I wouldn’t detect right away). 7. Refusal to give an invoice From the first moment I showed up in the office, I asked about the invoice for the tires (which I also bought at ATU). They promised to provide it to me later. But when at the end I looked through the documents, I did not find any invoice for tires. Had to go to the office again. The same guy who said that the wheels can be assembled in any way claimed that I was not entitled to any invoice. Amazing place… Another 5 minutes of discussion, and magically the invoice was found. So, I had a mix of problems. But what I didn't like the most was that customer safety is not their priority. I am lucky that I checked what they did. But what if the procedure wasn't so simple and obvious? Or what if someone more gullible relies on their words? Now I can highly recommend double-checking everything they do. Don't believe what they are saying, rely on your own opinion. Or maybe it's better to just avoid this place...

Went there 2 days ago to ask if I can get a TÜV for a motorcycle and said yes. Today, when I’ve arrived, they didn’t help me at all to unload the motorcycle from the van. Nobody cared and one of the employees even said “we work on cars, not bikes.” Wasting of time and worst customer service ever.

Service was goood, the reserved appointment went few hours over the time and they tried to sell me new brake discs even if I needed only the pads. We measured the discs and they were way over recommended thickness. Maybe just check first and the think about ordering parts ;-)) If you know your car you are fine. Some customers might end up with a bit more than needed:-)
