We had driven some metal part into our tire. So we went to the first repair shop we could find, which sent us straight to Reifen Helm.
The tires were in stock and were fitted right away. We took the opportunity to take a walk to Burg. Before heading home, we stopped by again to have them fitted.

When you're greeted in an obvious emergency with the words, "No matter what it is, we don't have time today anyway!", then you know you've arrived in the service desert that is Germany. Rarely in my life have I experienced such a lack of helpfulness. However, thanks to a nearby hardware store, car rental agency, and classified ads, I was able to help myself and continue my journey with a new tire. Something the "breakdown service" wouldn't have been able to do for at least 3-4 days. Help those who help themselves, and God will help you.
