Update: we heard back from the Vat office, and as expected the paperwork that was filled out by this place was not accepted by the vat form office as there was plenty of information missing. I had already assumed that this was going to be the outcome when I glanced over the paperwork but when I asked the Reifenhaus about it, I was rudely dismissed. So this place wasted one of our vat forms writing the wrong information on it, even though they originally claimed that they accept vat forms. I stay with my original statement this Vendor is shady, unprofessional and incompetent. Worst customer service.
Moved to Wiesbaden after living in the USA for 12 years, and was recommended this tire-shop by an American. Unfortunately, the customer service here was absolutely horrible and last weekend was my first and last time at this tire shop. They don’t do appointments, you will have to get in line and wait until it’s your turn, which makes the time spent there unpredictable. I was told this place accepts VAT forms, what confused me was that they didn’t give me a written quote and when they filled out the VAT form they didn’t even fill it out correctly. Nowhere did they write down the exact breakdown of the costs, the taxes, their stamp was missing etc. We also didn’t get money paid out, which that’s usually how most places do it. They simply said they will charge us the tax free price, but since I didn’t have a written quote I didn’t even know how much or if I even saved anything, since I couldn’t compare the tax vs non tax price (before or after price). When I acquired about more information on the phone later on that day, the phone was hung up on me. We took the VAT form to the VAT office on base and will see if they require more information, since info was missing. Shady, unprofessional, and incompetent.

Love this place. Staff are super friendly, work is solid, waiting area with coffee is super nice, and prices are fair. Great place to store tyres/wheels as well.

These guys were awesome for me in a serious pinch. It was just this Friday afternoon past when I was three hours from home after flying into Frankfurt and noticed my left rear tire had a nail in it after having driven twenty minutes on the road. The technician at the Reifenhaus noticed my tire was not worth repairing and the office team cut me a great deal to get me back on the road to home.
They are super-nice guys, too. You don't get such humanity at too many places in this industry. Thank you very much to the entire Reifenhaus Walther team!

Great people, fast and professional services, and never disappoint. I have been using this tries shop for the past few years and they always helped me out with their outstanding performance. They speak English and take VAT.
